CDC’s Division of HIV Prevention (DHP) leads high-impact HIV prevention efforts, focusing on reducing new infections, improving health outcomes, and addressing disparities. The Behavioral and Clinical Surveillance Branch (BCSB) implements rigorous HIV surveillance, while the Prevention Communication Branch (PCB) manages communications and campaigns. The Medical Monitoring Project (MMP), coordinated by BCSB, gathers vital data through annual surveys to inform national HIV strategies and initiatives.
Under the contract, ASSYST will develop, support, and maintain the Medical Monitoring Project (MMP) Meta Database and the PCB Metrics Database. The Task Order has been awarded under the NIH NITAAC CIO-SP3 Small Business GWAC.
“ We're proud to support the CDC DHP's vital mission in combating HIV," said Khalil Zebdi, EVP of Federal Business Development. Modernizing these key databases will enhance our ability to track, report, and ultimately reduce the impact of HIV across the nation.
